Nice, so you can build lego without having to buy the bricks . Sounds good, I may try to build something on this.Brickdoctor wrote:

The thing is that it's ridiculously difficult to find parts at first and the program doesn't let you make half the connections you'd be able to make with real bricks. MLCad addresses all of those, but with that you have the issue of floating and overlapping parts. I prefer the latter, though.

Yeah, one of the huge drawbacks is that you have to wait for TLG to issue new parts. But it's much easier to learn how to use, and you can unlock some more bricks with Extended Mode.Fallenangel wrote:

Re: What is LDD
Interesting that someone who uses illegal techniques as frequently as you do endorses a program as restrictive in assembly as LDD.

Re: What is LDD
It's the ease of use. I do use Bricksmith sometimes, if I have to have the freedom of parts placement.Fallenangel wrote:Interesting that someone who uses illegal techniques as frequently as you do endorses a program as restrictive in assembly as LDD.

Re: What is LDD
I suppose I should add this question here. Once I have a LDD file saved, how can I upload it anywhere (i.e. here)?

Re: What is LDD
The graphics are a little different, and the Attachment Method doesn't work here, but you can use Brickshelf as explained in the tutorial I wrote on Eurobricks.Triangle Man wrote:I suppose I should add this question here. Once I have a LDD file saved, how can I upload it anywhere (i.e. here)?
